"I want to showcase what's inside, while everyone else is fighting against the external. My project is based on my daily experiences of encountering invisible signals from people around me. I want to create a human presence without the need to depict it entirely. By portraying the body as a reflection of emotions, I often exaggerate certain elements to convey what concerns us. Through my use of traditional oil painting techniques, I pay respect to our culture."

Anna Salenko has been honing her skills as a palette knife artist for more than 10 years.
